Biography of Alexandra Hawley

Born in New York daughter of the principal clarinettist of N.B.C. orchestra and the first female student for woodwind instruments at Juillard School and first woman playing woodwinds for the New York Philharmonic.
Studies with Murray Panitz, Lloyd Gowen (Stanford) and Jean-Pierre Rampal in France
