Studies law in Padua

Abducts a violin student and marries her. As a consequence he is banished from the university in Padua and escapes to the monastry in Assisi.
1721
First violinist at the basilica di San Antonio in Padua
1723
For three years chamber musician in Prague for the count Kinsky. After this episode again in his old employment in Padua.
1726
Returns to Padua
1728
Foundation of a violin school of his own, there here teaches among others Nardini, Pasqualino and Johann Gottlieb Graun.
26.02.1770
Dies in Padua
Beside the flute concerto found in Stockholm he composed almost only for violin
Most famous violinist of his time.
