Bizet, who was befriended with the family, thought her to be talented for composing, Godard was quite impressed by her abilities in playint piano. But her father did not allow her studies at the conservatory.

First female composer to be affiliated into the legion of honour

Dies in Monte Carlo after years of doing social work, as World War I made her stop her concert career.
