Studies at the conservatory Dei Poveri in Naples with Greco
1719
Until 1731 band mast at the royal court in Naples and composer for the theatre (30 operas)

Band master of the Royal orchestra in Naples
1728
Teacher at the Conservatorio dei Poveri die Gesu Cristo. Among his students was Pergolesi
1731
Retreat to a monastry due to lovesickness. Countless church music compositions.
27.05.1732
Dies in Naples (might be at the 29.5.)
Composed more than 40 operas. At the beginning only comical ones, later on also serious.
