First music lessons with Jos de Klerk

Studies with Hubert Bahrwahser in Amsterdam

Appoint as orchestra flutist in Haarlem

1950

Lectureship at the Den Haag conservatory. Strict advocate of an interpretation as defined by the composition and without self-staging of the flutist. Later he also teached traverso. Among his student were Kuijken, Root and Pasveer

1956

Co-founder of Danzi Quintett
