Escape from home to study flute with Wunderlich in Paris at the conservatory, as his parents did not want him to become a musician (harmonics with Berton).

Leaves Paris to escape from military service

Lieutnant of a military band

First edition of his flute method
1819
Leaves service
1823
Leaves Paris to avoid conscription
1830
Has to leave Paris due to his involvement in political trouble

Dies in Pont-Le-Voye
