Studies with Tschirner at the national music school in Breslau (was learning on a conical flute and a Schwedler-Kruspe), degree for conducting, too.

Solo flutist of the National Orchestra Meiningen and winner of a competition in Vienna (with a wooden flute)
1939
Solo flutist of the Mozarteum orchestra in Salzburg and of the National opera Munich
Teached at Mozarteum Salzburg
1941
Solo flutist of the Bavarian National Orchestra until 1973
1946
Lectorship at Detmold music academy for seven years.
1948
Second price at the Geneve Concours together with Larde, Nicolet winning the first price
1953
Solo flutist of the Symphony Orchestra of Bavarian Broadcast in Munich
1968
Artistic head of easter festival Lourdes
1979
First class Federal Cross of Merit
Founder of the Ensemble Pro Arte with emphasis on baroque music.
